Personal Development Schedule

I have decided to model a mouse. The animation will be within a kitchen that I will model. To show emotion, the mouse will show pain and happiness. To show particle effects, I will add a fire, which will be present on a hob, where the mouse shows his pain emotion. I think this is a strong idea, and below is a personal schedule I have set myself, while developing this idea:

Step 1 - October
Research current kitchen designs
Create concept storyboard

Step 2 - October
Find and capture reference images for mouse and kitchen
Learn the basics of character modelling

Step 3 - October
Begin to model my mouse character
Begin to model kitchen appliances

Step 4 - October
Focus primarily on the mouse character, setting the right proportions.

Step 5 - November
Model some more kitchen appliances

Step 6 - November
Finish the character model
Continue with modelling the kitchen scene
Begin researching and creating some textures in Photoshop CS3

Step 7 - November
Continue with modelling the kitchen scene
Create more textures

Step 8 - November
Begin applying textures to completed kitchen models, for testing purposes

Step 9 - December
Complete kitchen models
Continue to create textures, following tutorials online

Step 10 - December
Complete textures.
Learn how to use UV mapping tools, to apply them more effectively

Step 11 - December
Apply all textures to models
Add each model to one big scene 
Add mouse character to same scene
Re scale where needed

Step 12 - January
Apply joints to character
Rig character
Set IK's and control points

Step 13 - January
Animate character

Step 14 - January
Apply lighting effects
Apply fire particle effects
Render
